Scholarship

The Panther Pride Youth Scholarship Fund was established in 2022 to provide financial support to athletes in our community wishing to participate in Panthers football and cheerleading. Scholarships will be awarded to athletes with financial need and who, in the Scholarship Committee's opinion, would best meet the goals and standards of the Panther organization.

The Panther Pride Youth Scholarship Fund is funded by sales of our Scholarship tees that are designed and sold during our football and cheer season, as well as private donations.

Eligibility:

Parents/Guardians of Panther athletes can apply for a scholarship by completing the application form in its entirety.  At this time, we are not taking scholarship nominations from non-Parent/Guardians.

The application form includes a 500-word essay.  This essay should describe the reason the applicant is applying for the scholarship, including details regarding financial need.  We highly recommend that you provide as much information as possible in your application.  Please note that additional documentation may be requested by the Scholarship Committee.  Do not include the name of your athlete in your essay.

Scholarships awarded will cover Panther program costs (i.e., registration fees).  All athletes are required to fundraise. Scholarship amounts vary from $100 to full program registration costs. (Cheer: Scholarships do not cover uniforms or shoes.  Tackle Football/Flag Football: Scholarships do not cover cleats or socks)

Scholarship applications for cheer must be submitted by April 1st, 2024.  There are no exceptions.  Notification of scholarship awards will be made via email by April 15th, 2024.

Scholarship applications for football must be submitted by May 1, 2024.  There are no exceptions.  Notification of scholarship awards will be made via email by May 15, 2024.
