he Panther Pride Youth Scholarship Fund is funded by sales of our Scholarship tees that are designed and sold during our football and cheer season, as well as private donations.

Eligibility:

Parents/Guardians of Panther athletes can apply for a scholarship by completing the application form in its entirety.  At this time, we are not taking scholarship nominations from non-Parent/Guardians.

The application form includes a 500-word essay.  This essay should describe the reason the applicant is applying for the scholarship, including details regarding financial need. 

Applicants who were granted a scholarship in prior years must submit a new essay each year; applications without a new essay will not be approved.

We highly recommend that you provide as much information as possible in your application.  Please note that additional documentation may be requested by the Scholarship Committee.  Do not include the name of your athlete in your essay.

Scholarships awarded will cover Panther program costs (i.e., registration fees).  (Cheer: Scholarships do not cover uniforms or shoes.  Tackle Football/Flag Football: Scholarships do not cover cleats.)

All athletes are required to participate in the program’s annual fundraiser. Please note that equipment will not be issued until all raffle ticket obligations have been fulfilled.

Scholarship awards may range from $100 up to the full registration fee, based on eligibility and available funds.

Scholarship applications for cheer must be submitted by April 1st, 2026.  There are no exceptions.  Notification of scholarship awards will be made via email by April 15th, 2026.

Scholarship applications for football must be submitted by May 1, 2026.  There are no exceptions.  Notification of scholarship awards will be made via email by May 15, 2026.

A Parent/Guardian may apply for a scholarship for more than one athlete; however one application must be submitted for each individual athlete.

The Scholarship Committee is led by Panthers Treasurer, Casey Sampson and is comprised of 5 board members and 2 independent committee member:

All information submitted will be kept confidential.  Once an application is received by the Treasurer, the Treasurer will remove personal identifiable information (to make the application anonymous) and will provide anonymous applications to the Scholarship Committee for their review and determination.
